WiCyS Security Training Scholarship

I did fantastic on Stage 2 of the WiCyS Security Training Scholarship! I captured as many flags as anyone! We haven't been able to see the scoreboard, but there were only two challenges I didn't complete. From the looks of it on the Slack channel, nobody else completed them either.

We will find out by Dec 11, 2024, at 5 pm CT whether we advance to Stage 3, and then we will be notified whether we have been awarded the scholarship by Jan 13, 2025, at 5 pm CT. This opportunity is extremely exciting but also nerve-wracking. SANS courses and certifications are the pinnacle of cybersecurity training, and by earning these certifications I would join the ranks of top-tier cybersecurity professionals, enhancing my credibility and expertise in the field!

Just about done with my Capstone! I've completed the project to my own standards, now I just need to confirm it also meets the evaluators requirements.

Random Studying!

Turns out PearsonVue is currently offering a free retake through the end of December on Azure, Broadcom and Cisco certifications, among many others. Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate qualifies for the promotion and is on my own personal roadmap, so I've been studying like crazy to take a crack at AZ-800 and maybe even AZ-801 before the end of the month. Even if I don't pass the first time, the second time is free and then I would know which areas I need to study more deeply.
